Lighthouse Learning Curriculum
Our curriculum follows and covers the 2014 National Curriculum. As a tiny rural school, with mixed year groups, we have worked hard to ensure that children follow a progressive and challenging curriculum. This is centred around our motto:

We Succeed
We are Making Memories
We use a range of schemes to support our teaching and learning and subject leaders. Our curriculum is subject because we feel that our children need to become experts in many subjects, and experience a range of disciplines, to be able to succeed in life beyond school. To become productive citizens in a local sense, and responsible citizens as members of our world, children need to fully understand and experience many knowledge rich subjects.
