Each week, the Reception children have an afternoon dedicated to Wild Tribe Outdoor Learning. They are able to develop their knowledge and understanding of the world through exciting activities based within our extensive school grounds. We are lucky to have a large school field, bounded by hedgerows and large trees. At the far end of our field, we have Pebble Wood, an area that has both established and newly planted trees, an amphitheatre, tree stumps and a Cornish hedge wall. We also have a dedicated fire pit. The children are able to take part in activities such as art and craft, role play, treasure hunts and learning camp craft skills. We encourage the children to keep a pair of wellies in school, so that they are able to enjoy the great outdoors, whatever the weather, throughout the week.
